The Kings Bay - Camden Community Forum strengthens and enhances the relationship between the military and civilian communities to educate and promote their collective interests in Camden County.
The Forum provides an opportunity for senior military and civil service management personnel of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, and the United States Coast Guard, to interact with local civilian management personnel representing government, defense contractors, energy, education, state and federal leaders and community leadership.
The establishment of this forum recognizes the importance our local military installation and businesses play in the economic health of the community.
At the sessions key leaders from Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay and the community provide briefings to members, keeping them abreast of the latest developments at the Base, in Camden County and at the state and federal level.
Forums are usually held on the second Thursday of every other month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chief’s Club on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. In June and October tours will be offered on base. Citizens from all segments of the community are encouraged to apply.
