Community Forums

“Bringing the Military & Civilian Communities Together”

Our Community Forums, held throughout the year, are learning and information programs which strengthen and enhance the relationship between the military and civilian communities to educate and promote their collective interests in Camden County. Community Forums provide an opportunity for senior military and civil service management personnel of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, and the United States Coast Guard to interact with local civilian management personnel representing government, defense contractors, energy, education, state and federal leaders, and community leadership.

The Forums recognize the importance our local military installation and businesses play in the economic health of the community.

A typical Forum features key leaders from Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay and the community briefing attendees on recent developments on the Base, in Camden County and at the state and federal levels. Tours of submarines and facilities on the Base are frequently added to Forum programs.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and must submit a Registration Form. A list of attendees for each forum is provided to the gate for admittance. Each forum includes a working luncheon; payment will be collected at the door.
